And that's why, in the spirit of tzedakah, a percentage of all proceeds from every bar and bat mitzvah at which we perform is contributed to Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger. This progressive organization makes grants to anti-hunger agencies throughout Israel and other parts of the world. We also make donations to the temples with perform the ceremonies.
